Our Ski-/Snowboard-School located in Feldberg, Germany is looking for new staff, doesn't matter if you have a license or not, keep reading.
Generally we are looking for cool people with a passion or desire to instruct our guest in skiing. So if you already obtain a license, good, if you haven't started your winter experience yet, no problem. We will be offering an in-house level 1 ski instructor course. It most likely will take place end of November, beginning of December 2024 in one of the glacier skiresorts for the estimated price of 500€, 7 days incl. exam and bed, excl. Liftticket and food. Which means, after attending the training and passing the exam you will be an DSLV level 1 ski instructor. You should at least be able to ski an easy run, otherwise it will be tricky to get enough skill to pass the exam.
Who has got a license already, will get payed hourly starting at 20€, on a self employed base, invoicing the work hours. Pay raise for experience, higher level of certification and returning staff.
As we don't employ, we can't really assist with visas, if needed. Also, speaking a minimum level of german would be helpful, as about 70% of our customers speak German, Dutch is also handy. We can help you to get the basics that are needed for your work, but if you don't know any German, it will be hard.
There will be a form of bonus/cashback after passing the exam and working at least 15 days during our main season times.
Season lasts approximately from mid December up to mid/end March.
We are not the highest mountain, with about 1400m nor the biggest skiresort. But we have about 70% returning clients which shows our strength, we are more familial within the team and the guests than any other school. It can turn your average snow season still into the season of your life.
I myself started as an instructor chosen by passion, since 26 seasons following the snow and instructing in many countries like Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Chile and all over Europe. Now I am helping new people to find the same passion for the snow, while running the skischool I started my career in. Traveling the world, while getting payed, there is nothing better.
