Roles & Responsibilities

Nannies working in a ski resort, care for children who visit with their family, on holiday. Parents want peace of mind to explore the mountains and skiing. So it is fundamental that they can trust a nanny to care for their little ones. A nanny is a helping hand to parents. This includes organising some fun, engaging activities for children to keep them entertained, encouraging learning and development. Days are filled with a suitable amount of outdoor play, exploring the community and resort attractions. It is important that children get lots of physical activity, plenty of sunlight and fresh air but also time to rest in the warm and dry, taking a break from the sun with stimulating indoor activities such as arts and crafts, puzzles, games and reading. A nanny must ensure the children are comfortable. Preparing nutritious food and creating calm and sociable mealtimes. All babies and some children need to sleep during the day and will have their own routines for their naps and bedtimes. Ultimately, the role of the nanny is to create a memorable holiday for the children whilst working in partnership with parents.
